Questions, answered plainly

The things families most often ask before a first conversation. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly.

What does a first conversation look like?

We listen first. You tell us where you stand and what matters to your family, and we map what you already have in place. You leave knowing your next step — whether or not it’s with us.

Does it cost anything to meet with an advisor?

No. The introductory conversation is at no cost and no obligation. An Aura advisor will reach out within one business day of your enquiry to set it up.

Do I need a certain amount of wealth to work with Aura?

No. Our clients are people building something worth protecting: young families securing their income, established households growing tax-efficiently, professionals planning retirement, and business owners whose company is the family asset. The starting point is a conversation, not a minimum.

What makes Aura different from my bank?

Most Canadians get financial advice in pieces — a bank here, an insurance policy there, an investment account somewhere else — with no plan connecting any of it. Aura brings it under one roof: one accountable team, looking at your whole picture, building one connected plan.

How are Aura advisors trained?

Every Aura advisor completes the Aura University before advising families — a structured curriculum with defined milestones, AI-powered planning systems, and direct mentorship from senior, high-producing advisors who review live client work.

Do you work with clients outside Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary?

Yes. Aura teams work from Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary, and serve families in every province — in person and virtually.

What products and solutions can Aura advisors access?

Aura advisors have access to solutions from Canada’s leading financial institutions through licensed third-party providers — spanning insurance-based protection, tax-advantaged accounts such as TFSAs, RESPs, and RRSPs, investment planning, and corporately-held solutions for business owners. No partnership or endorsement by any institution is implied.

How often is my plan reviewed?

A plan is a living thing. We review it as your life changes — new home, new child, new business, new chapter — for years, not quarters. Ongoing review is a defined part of how we work, not an extra.

How is my personal information handled?

Carefully, and only for responding to you. We never sell your information or share it for marketing. The details are in our Privacy Policy, along with how to request access or deletion.

Still have a question?

Ask it in a conversation — no cost, no obligation, and you’ll get a plain answer.
